This has been one of the most goofy and unpredictable years I can remember. There are still a few days left, but you know what, I am ready to close the book on this year, so I am mentally moving on to 2025.

For the year 2025, try and remember that every day is like a canvas for you to paint, paint it like YOU want to paint it and forget what the nay-sayers and “experts” have to say. After all, some of the sharpest knives in drawer have predicted or said the following…

“With over 50 foreign cars already on sale here, the Japanese auto industry isn’t likely to carve out a big slice of the U.S. market.” — Business Week, August 2, 1968

“There is not the slightest indication that nuclear energy will ever be obtainable. It would mean that the atom would have to be shattered at will.” — Albert Einstein, 1932

“We don’t like their sound, and guitar music is on the way out.” — Decca Recording Co. rejecting the Beatles, 1962.

“This ‘telephone’ has too many shortcomings to be seriously considered as a means of communication. The device is inherently of no value to us.” — Western Union internal memo, 1876.

“Remote shopping, while entirely feasible, will flop—because women like to get out of the house, like to handle merchandise, like to be able to change their minds.” Time Magazine 1966

Happy New year Everyone- Make it a good one.
